Why verify before Instantly / Smartlead import
Both Instantly and Smartlead reward clean inputs: lower bounce rate protects domain warmup, inbox placement, and campaign capacity. Scraped or enriched lists routinely carry 10–30% undeliverable or disposable addresses. Filtering those before import is cheaper than recovering a burned domain.
Verifly does live mailbox checks and returns deliverable / undeliverable / risky plus disposable, role, and catch-all flags. Drop undeliverable entirely; drop role accounts for cold outreach; decide on catch-all / risky based on how new the sending domain is.
Three practical workflows
CSV path: export or assemble your lead column → POST /api/v1/verify/batch (or async bulk for large jobs) → keep deliverable → import into Instantly or Smartlead. Clay path: HTTP enrichment column in Clay, then export the filtered view. n8n path: HTTP Request or n8n-nodes-verifly node between enrichment and sequencer webhook.

Is there a native Instantly or Smartlead plugin?
Verifly integrates via CSV, HTTP API, Clay, or n8n — not a proprietary Instantly/Smartlead plugin. That keeps the same key working across every sequencer you use. Dedicated pages: /instantly-email-verification and /smartlead-email-verification.
Will verification eliminate all bounces?
No verifier can promise zero bounces. Catch-all domains and mailbox state changes mean some risk remains. Verifly reduces bounce risk by removing clearly undeliverable and disposable addresses before import.
How large a list can I clean before a campaign?
Batch accepts up to 100 addresses per call for ongoing chunks. Async bulk accepts jobs up to 1,000,000 addresses. Same API key and credit pricing either way.
Should I remove catch-all addresses for Instantly?
On a newly warmed domain, yes — exclude catch-all / risky. On an established domain with healthy placement, you can keep them and monitor bounce rate closely.
Can I reuse credits across Instantly and Smartlead clients?
Yes. Credits are account-level and never expire. One pack covers every campaign and client workbook on that Verifly key.
