1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Verifly ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Verifly provides email verification services through a web interface and API. The Service validates email addresses by checking syntax, domain existence, MX records, and mailbox availability.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Verify email addresses for spamming or unsolicited bulk email
  • Harvest email addresses for malicious purposes
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the Service
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse API access

5. Credits and Payments

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are purchased in advance and consumed when verifying emails.

  • Credits do not expire
  • Credits are non-refundable except where required by law
  • Only deliverable and undeliverable results consume credits
  • Risky and unknown results are free

6. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits based on your plan. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary suspension. You must keep your API keys confidential and are responsible for all API usage under your account.

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

8. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we aim for 99.5% accuracy, email verification is not 100% guaranteed. Results depend on mail server configurations and may change over time. We are not liable for any damages arising from verification results.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Verifly. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verifly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or dashboard notification.
